This amazing group from Cuba is definitely on the cutting edge with a strong funk/hop element. I love their sound on this, their first CD. Note: Their second CD "Emigrante" is also deeply funky, but has very little salsa in the mix.

Wow! What a great alternative/funk/hop/salsa endeavor. Richard Blair from the UK produced this amazing CD by combining the efforts of some of the best Columbian musicians with modern club music techniques. ...and boy does it groove!
